Cat Grooming Safety Notice
All cats at Happy Paws are groomed by two groomers at all times, for nail trims and full grooming services. This is done to ensure the safety of both our groomers and your cat. One groomer gently and securely handles your cat, while the other performs the service. This approach allows us to provide a calm, controlled, and safe grooming experience for your pet.
Cat Grooming Pricing
Our cat grooming services start at a base rate.
Because cats are living, sensitive animals, it’s not possible to offer one flat price for every appointment. Each cat’s temperament, age, coat condition, grooming history, and comfort with water, drying, and handling can affect the time and care required.
Most appointments remain at the base rate — especially for cats who are groomed regularly and have a history of tolerating grooming well.
In some cases, an older cat, a heavily matted coat, or a more sensitive temperament may require additional time and gentle handling. When that happens, there may be an added charge. We do have a maximum adjustment limit. If grooming would require exceeding that limit, we will stop the service for your cat’s safety.
For senior cats or cats with health concerns, we also offer two-day grooming sessions. This allows us to work more slowly and gently, giving your cat time to rest and reducing stress on their body.
If at any point a cat becomes overly stressed, aggressive, or too fragile to safely continue, we may recommend consulting your veterinarian about calming options so grooming can be completed safely and comfortably.

All cat grooming services include paw pad cleaning and ear cleaning, except for nail trim services. Prices may vary based on coat condition, behavior, and time required.

Full Grooming Services
Kittens: We do not recommend shaving kittens unless medically necessary.
• Kitten Full Groom (with shaving): Starting at $145
Adult Cats: Shaving is recommended for adult cats when needed for coat health, matting, or comfort.
• Adult Cat Full Groom: $170 (Includes nail trim, sanitary shave, bath, ear cleaning, paw pad cleaning, and shave as needed)
